About Our Cooking Camps

Cook, bake, and  decorate as we focus on teamwork and how to get organized. Young chefs will learn what it's like to cook as chef in a commercial kitchen. We will have local chefs stop by to show us there skills and they learn how food gets from the farm to their tables.  


Here, young chefs will learn about food that is both tasty and healthy. They will be preparing the meals themselves. Whether it’s your child’s first every hands-on cooking experience, our camp is bound to become a memory that they will never forget.

 

Full day camps run every other week and we also have Part Time Day Camps.  Camps are open for children ages 7 to 16.  Click on the Class Schedule Button to  registration.

Full Time Camp Information 

  • Days: Monday - Friday 
  • Time: 9am - 3pm
  • Price: $350.00 per week ( lunch, apron & cookbook included)
  • Class Size is Limited to 12 students per week.
  • Part Time Camp Information 

  • Days: Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Thursday Friday 
  • Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am -1:00 pm
  • Price: $50.00 per day or $250.00 for all 5 days
  • Class Size is Limited to 12 students per week

  • 2019 Summer Camp Weeks

     

    Week 1 : 6/3 - 6/7 - Full Time

    Baking Breads**(Ages 10-16)


     In this camp, kids will learn the basics of bread baking. Yeast breads will be the focus. They will bake Pretzels, French Bread, Cinnamon Rolls, Bagels, and Doughnuts. 

    Week 2 6/10 - 6/12  Part Time

    Nailed It   **(Ages 7-10)

    Avoid disaster and create delicious baked treats in this challenge based, hands-on class. Bakers will receive a baking challenge at the beginning of class and get to work in small teams to complete the challenge. 

    Week 3:  6/17 - 6/21 Full Time

    Farmers Market **(Ages 10-16)
     

    Students will enjoy creating their own farmers market stand concept. From logo to menu pricing. They will also craft recipes to fit into that concept. Invite family and friends by on Friday to buy your chef's creations.

    Week 4: 6/24 - 6/28 Full Time

    Pie Club  **(Ages 10-16)

    Pie Club Week your baker will learn to perfect buttery pie crust and various fillings each week. Bakers will take there pies home to enjoy.

    Week 5: 7/1 - 7/3 Part Time

    Sugar Rush **Ages (10-16)


    In this camp, we will see who can beat the clock to create the best tasting themed baked desserts! Kids will work in teams.

    Week 6: 7/8 - 7/12 Full Time 
    Baking Boss **Ages (7-12)

    In this camp we will focus on creating and baking fancy cakes, cookies with royal icing,  using a variety of techniques such as filling, ganache toppings, and cereal milk!

    Week 7: 7/15 - 7/19 Part Time
    Chopped Challenge ** (Ages 10-16)

    Young Chefs will call on their culinary skills as they face off against one another to prepare a spectacular three-course meal consisting of an entree and dessert.

    Week 8: 7/22 - 7/26  Half Day

    Cookbook Club **(Ages 7-10)


    Students will enjoy working there way through the . Two recipes will be create each day from the Complete Children's Cookbook.  This is full week half day camp.

    Week 9: 7/29 - 7/31 Part Time

    Nailed It **(Ages 11 -16)


    Avoid disaster and create delicious baked treats in this challenge based, hands-on class. Bakers will receive a baking challenge at the beginning of class and get to work in small teams to complete the challenge. 

    Week 9: 8/5 - 8/9  Half Day


    Cookbook Club **(Ages 11-16)


    Young Chefs will enjoy working there way through the MasterChef Junior Cookbook . Two recipes will be create each day from savory to sweet.
